The Redeemer House Orphanage began with a burden on the heart of Kathy Vaughan. Kathy was on a medical mission trip to Uganda, and during her time there, she felt a tremendous desire to do more, but didn’t know what it was that God wanted her to do. Shortly before she was to return home, she says that God made it clear; she was to start an orphanage. It was from these events that the Redeemer House Orphanage was conceived. Kathy will be the first to admit that she had no idea how to start an orphanage, let alone one in a foreign country. She can only attribute the success of the orphanage...
